Dimensions: 16.5 inches tall Γ 6.5 inches square
The Crucible Tradition
Since 1996, when General Charles C. Krulak introduced The Crucible, this 54-hour test has been the final challenge that transforms recruits into Marines, forging their mental, physical, and moral strength. Families light lanterns to show support and stay connected during this grueling challenge β a tradition dating back to Civil War candlelit vigils that told the world a warrior was in battle.
Conquering The Crucible
The Crucible's 54-hour gauntlet culminates with one final grueling obstacle; at MCRD Parris Island (shaping Marines since 1915), recruits complete a 9-mile hike to the Iwo Jima statue. At MCRD San Diego (making Marines since 1921), they charge up the towering 700-foot Reaper hill. Exhausted but unbreakable, they earn their Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) and celebrate with a warrior's breakfast β victory never tasted so earned.

Supporting Veterans

Our Story
I'm Tori β Army Veteran, MoM (Mother Of Marines) to two sons, Wife of a Marine, Sister of a Marine, Aunt of a Marine, and Mother-in-law of a Marine. The custom EGA topper was designed by our entire Marine family. I've lived through bootcamp anxiety, Crucible stress, and deployment fears (my son served 3 tours in Iraq and Afghanistan). I understand what you're feeling, and I pour that into every piece I create.
We are proudly an official United States Marine Corps Licensed Hobbyist (License #23055).
